This greeting was sent by an elder of the Waxe Church of Papua New Guinea who is presently caring for a church in another language-related group. His village name is Waxfa, and his ‘Christian’ name is Joshua. Like his namesake, Joshua has been a faithful man, and for the last 11 years has been shepherding a group of believers in the village of Mugumute….
Here is what he says:
I want to give a large thank you to those of you at Peninsula Community Church and Pacific Coast Church, to all of you for the way you have helped us who live in Papua New Guinea. I want to give a thank you for your help that makes it possible for us to do our work here. And that work is very big. Good. You all must exist/sit well (live at peace). We know you pray to God and ask Him to help us so we are well because of your prayers. So God must do many good fashions toward you all (bless you) for helping us as you do in this work. Really good. I don’t have a lot to say, I just want to say God must do good things toward you all for helping us.
