National Day of Prayer - This Thursday! Posted 5.04.2010

This year at PCC, we’re going to do something a bit different. In the past few years, we have had a prayer and worship time here at the church on the evening of the National Day of Prayer. This year, instead of that service, we’re hosting an all day prayer vigil.

Here’s how it will work. The National Day of Prayer is Thursday, May 6. The sanctuary will be open all day from 8 am until 8 pm for individuals or groups to come and pray. There will be several prayer stations throughout the sanctuary, and you can choose the one on which you want to focus or you can visit several or even all of them, pausing to pray at each one. There will be a host or hostess present throughout the day to answer any questions and to make note of any prayer requests you would like to leave for others to use for prayer.

So, on Thursday, May 6, come when you can. Stay as long as you like and pray with us for God’s blessing. Remember the Bible says the effective prayers of righteous people accomplish much!
