Dancers, actors, and fine artists
These three disciplines of artistic expression are a part of our team both on a project and on-going basis. We also will begin to include these expressions in our weekend gatherings from time to time, especially as the team grows.
Ushers
This crew is a vital part of what we do on Sundays. Do you enjoy smiling, getting to know people, and serving? We need you. We value hospitality around PCC and this is a way we express it. Our ushers help make people feel as at-home as possible while assisting with whatever needs arise during the morning.
Time commitments: one Sunday per month to start. Serving in both services once per month is preferable or you can serve in one of the gatherings twice per month.
Program Directors
Our are hosts for those serving in the gatherings on Sunday. The director must be good at multi-tasking and have strong communication skills.
Time Commitments: During weekend services when scheduled.
VJ’s (i.e. video jockeys)
Projected lyrics and graphics are used in almost every large gathering at Peninsula. Our vj’s use ProPresenter on a Macintosh to display song lyrics, Bible text and graphics on the main screens. VJ’s are in a critical leadership role with the worship leader. The behind-the-scenes nature doesn’t diminish the vital team role.
Time Commitments: During weekend services when scheduled.
Camera Operators/Recording engineers
Camera operators must be balanced in their creative and technical abilities while receiving direction from the director.

Vocal Community…both celebration choir and vocal team (i.e. backing vocalists)
Gathers weekly for community, life sharing, learning new songs, and rehearsing for services and events. From this community, backing vocalists are selected for weekend worship services and special events. For the choir, singing ability ranges from beginner to mastered level. For backing vocalists who sing on mic during Sunday gatherings, there is an audition process to sing at this level.
• Celebration Choir
o Rehearsal is each Thursday night at 7:00 p.m. under the direction of Joanna Nachef.
The choir performs one to two times a month in our worship gatherings.

Time Commitments: Participate in weekly vocal rehearsals, and sing during scheduled weekend services.
Instrumentalists
We are always seeking musicians who are able to play at a professional as well as those or beginner level. There are multiple places to serve throughout our ministries, of which playing on Sundays in the main gatherings is only a small part. We look for people who want to use their musical gifts and song writing abilities to serve the Lord. All instruments are welcome, though not all instruments are used routinely.
Time Commitment includes a pre-service rehearsal on Sunday mornings as well as participation in all weekend services. We also have monthly rehearsals on Saturday or midweek.
Communion Team
As a part of the communion team, you can help establish the ambiance in the auditorium, prepare communion elements, and help tear down the tables after communion events.
Element Preparation - Cutting Bread/Providing Juice to deliver the week prior to communion.
Table Set Up & Decoration – usually we have one table set up down front but do from time to time create a communion space out of the whole room. We a general table design will be made for you to reproduce on the 10-12 other tables scattered throughout the auditorium.
Clean Up - Take down tables, pack and store supplies, wash and put away plates, goblets and table coverings.
Communion Coordinator - Help with inventory, and maintain communion supplies. Schedule volunteers, and help plan and design table decoration to be implemented by the team of volunteers. Oversee clean up and storage of supplies.
Time Commitment As needed for weekend services and holiday events.
Hospitality Team
This is a great ministry for several people to team up together, or for a small group to do. It can be once a year, twice a year, once a month – as time availability and aspiration allows.
• Provide food for the worship team on Sunday mornings for 25-30 people. Food should be set up by 8:30 am.
• Provide food for special events (during the Christmas Concert, Christmas Eve & Easter Services).
• Hospitality Coordinator – Recruits and schedules the teams that provide the food. Keeps the Green Room stocked with supplies.
Time Commitment: As needed for weekend services and holiday events.
Graphic Design
Help collaborate, create and produce interactive, communication pieces. Help clarify and clearly communicate with you use your gifts to glorify God and support the church.
Time Commitments: Projects come up on an as-needed basis. We would connect with you and your availability to see if you could help out!
Photography
Have the gift of photography? Share your shots with the Peninsula community, help us take pictures of our building, services, and events for our website images. Need photographers (not amateur with a Kodak one use camera but need not be professional) who would like to volunteer their skills for special projects at the church.
Time Commitments: On an as-needed basis for events.
all things video and film
Do you shoot, produce, edit, program, or anything else having to do with video? We’re always looking for those interested in helping produce pieces that tell the story of God, both what’s happening at PCC as well as creative worship pieces. These are used in Sunday gatherings as well as on our website. No previous video editing experience is necessary. Must be computer literate, Mac experience a plus. We also need help editing the weekend gatherings/services both in video and audio formats.
Time Commitment: Serve 2-4 hours a week (Sunday afternoons or Monday mornings) for editing services. Other projects as needed.
Website help
Help us maintain and develop content, unique ideas and other interactive ideas on our website. Time Commitments: On an as-needed basis.
