Medical Clinic 2012
The dates for the 2012 Bombo Medical Clinic are set for AUGUST 12-17, 2012.
There are several ways you can participate:
1. Go. You can join the team traveling to Bombo, Uganda. We need doctors, nurses, dentists, medical support staff, and even non-medical support staff. A medical background is not required.
2. Pray. We need folks committed to praying for the medical clinic in all of its aspects. It is a week which changes lives -- so we need prayer!
3. Give. The mission costs about $15,000 to run, including medicines and medical supplies, food and housing for the local doctors, and emergency medical needs which arise during each clinic. Make checks payable to Peninsula Community Church.
On August 12, 2012, Peninsula Community Church and Operation Heatlhy Africa will once again join hands with Bombo Pentecostal Church and open the doors to a fifth Medical/Dental Clinic in Bombo, Uganda. Many hours of planning and prayer will make this outreach a success. We are praying even now that everything will come together in such a way that lives are changed - for eternity! Last year, we enjoyed over 3,800 patient visits at the clinic, did 56 surgeries, and handed out over 300 pairs of eyeglasses. And the folks of Bombo Pentecostal Church ministered effectively for a full week - with 268 decisions for Christ.
As the planning is underway for 2012, would you consider joining the team traveling to Uganda? The forms are now available for you consideration. Read everything carefully and let the information help you make a wise decision. Pray about the possibility of joining the team in Bombo in person.
