 Quest 2012 Summer Discipleship and Musical for Kids!

Quest is a fun discipleship program for children who are ready to take the next step in their walk with God. This summer we will find out what in your life is buggin’ you?  What’s buggin’ us often gives us a clue as to what is important to us or what are we living for at any particular moment.  Quest 2012: L.I.F.E. will get to the root of why we do what we do and will teach us how to “Live Intentionally For Eternity.” 

 

I am very excited this year to include a parent option.  In this special half hour session you will learn the life-changing material we are teaching at Quest and how to incorporate it into your parenting.  The truths we teach at Quest are essential to a right understanding of life and what God is doing in each of us.  By participating you will grow in your walk with the Lord, be equipped in your parenting, and extend the benefits of Quest in your child's life. Additionally you will receive a $5 discount for each child registering for Quest if at least one parent regularly participates in the weekly parent option. 

The Musical this Summer…"The Amazing Grace Race: In His Steps, In My Shoes" 

Performance: Sunday, August 26^th, 5pm.

On your mark…get set…GO! Tie your shoe strings and begin your race with this high-energy kid’s musical, “The Amazing Grace Race.”  These young racers are learning that the secret to running life’s grace race is to follow in His steps but in their shoes.

 

Who can attend Quest?
Quest is for students who have completed 1st up through 5th grade by June 2012. (Those finishing 6th-8th grades can participate as group helpers and can be in the musical). Qualified Senior High Youth and Adults can help as group leaders.

When does Quest meet?
Quest meets every Thursday, 1:30-4:30 pm, July—August beginning July 7th. The last week of August (Wed-Sat) is reserved for additional musical rehearsals with the presentation of the musical Sunday, August 26 at 5:00 pm.

How do I sign up for Quest?
Registration is now open. If you attend PCC and want to be assured that you will get a spot make sure to sign up early! 

 

To REGISTER for Quest and/or VBS, print and fill out the Registration Form and the Medical Release Form (Fill out a separate medical release form for each child) and include a check made payable to "PCC". Bring this to the church office or mail it to the church. Registration will not be complete unless both forms are completed and payment is received.

How can adults be involved in Quest?
We're glad you asked! If you love to help kids grow in their walk with Jesus (or maybe even begin one!) just fill out the Worker Registration Form and return it to the church office.  People finishing the 6th grade in 2012 (and older) are eligible to help.  Those finishing 5th grade will participate in the program.
